U13D Kanga Cup July 2010

Thank You Very Much

…for assisting us in putting together a great experience for the U13 squad playing in the Kanga Cup in Canberra.

Lacemates will be worn with pride, initially at the Cup competition, and then no doubt for the rest of the season.  We will have a few players from other clubs in the squad so your goods will achieve wider exposure than simply within our Club.

Gosford City Football Club encourages the Central Coast’s young players in their football development, and so is supporting the Gosford U13’s football team in traveling to Canberra in July to compete in the prestigious Kanga Cup.

The tournament runs from Sunday to Friday in school holidays, where the team will play a minimum of 5 games over the course of the week, as they compete to win the coveted Kanga Shield.  More information can be found at www.kangacup.com.

As the largest junior football tournament in the southern hemisphere, the tournament attracts teams from all over the country, and also internationally.  Players will experience team-building and interaction with teams from national and international clubs – which will reinforce the world game and sportsmanship aspects of our sport.

You are in good company, as other pledges to date include a family’s worth of general admission tickets for Mariner’s home games from Toshiba Central Coast; a Socceroos shirt personalized signed by Tim Cahill from Club President Mr Peter Huxley; and a 6 months training from Black Belt Karate Studios.  You can see the theme so far is very much football and sport oriented!  Other donations included, framing of the main prize by Framing Alternative, and Supporters stickers from Coastal Labels.

We propose to sell up to 3000 tickets and to draw the raffle on June 30, with prizewinners and sponsors thanked and announced via the club Website.
